Ah, thanks for the tip. I wasnt aware eve comes with a loging tool. I used it and it did indeed output a serious amount of errors which i posted in the bugreport thread.

Considering i use an ati card i doubt it was to do with the gforce ;) I also noticed theres no crash log generated even though the client shuts down.
